NAPOLEON BABY are an indie rock band based in Auckland, New Zealand.
NAPOLEON BABY write with an angular perspective on life. The trio, borne two-thirds from the UK, a third from NZ have been working hard at brewing a heady concoction of anthems that speak to the injustices, irritations, and painful daily observations of life, blending searing honesty, razor-sharp social commentary and a ferocious sound.
NAPOLEON BABY’s influences are broad and beautiful — from iconic British bands like The Jam and Oasis, the rebellious spirit of American alt-rock legends like Violent Femmes and The Stooges, and visionaries like Nina Simone, Jeff Buckley, The Everly Brothers and Thom Yorke — artists who effectively place the audience in the driving seat of the widescreen panorama of the art they create.
NAPOLEON BABY are heading to Europe for August 2025 and are looking to play shows in the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany and beyond.
With a steady string of singles and EPs released, NAPOLEON BABY are working on finishing their debut album, set for release later this year.
