Vivid, offbeat and full of heart, it takes us on a journey through the streets of London, the bright lights of Karangahape Road, and into the cold green waves of the Irish Sea.
Recorded live-to-tape at Roundhead Studios, the album carries the warmth of that hallowed room and the people within it. With Paddy Hill at the desk, Tom was joined by Dave Khan on violin and piano, and Cass Basil on bass and clarinet.
Together they captured an album that hums with the intensity of music unfolding in real time. No edits, no digital polish – the songs were captured in a single take, preserving the intimacy, imperfection, and humanity of the moment.
