Lowly - Softy
Holiday Records is proud to present an exclusive limited edition variant of Lowly's newest album, Softy. Pressed on stunning cream vinyl, this release is only limited to 100 hand-numbered copies and includes a signed postcard.
After fifteen years of making music together, Danish five-piece Lowly return to where they began: five musicians in a room, channeling their deepest emotions into songs as a true collective. Formed at the Aarhus conservatory by Nanna Schannong, Soffie Viemose, Kasper Staub, Thomas Lund and Steffen Lundtoft, the band quickly developed their signature blend of indie, shoegaze, dream pop and alternative rock, with each member contributing equally to a sound greater than the sum of its parts.
Their acclaimed run of albums – Heba (2017), Hifalutin (2019) and Keep Up the Good Work (2023) – leads to Softy, a self-produced record that marks a return to the band's earliest creative process. Recorded together in a rented house and studio in Aarhus, the album prioritises live collaboration, human connection and spontaneity over perfection.
Across ten expansive tracks, Softy explores modern life through themes of parenthood, togetherness and bravery in an increasingly unstable world. Rather than looking back, Lowly look forward, embracing vulnerability while reaffirming the collaborative spirit that has defined them from the very beginning.
As drummer Steffen Lundtoft puts it: "Softy is a classic Lowly album in the sense that it's put together by five very different individuals... All our work contains different types of songs, but they're bound together by the fact that it's us making it together. So there's room for everyone."

Shelf Lives
Fueled by glitchy beats, razor-sharp guitars, and a no-fucks-given energy, the Shelf Lives mission is simple: if you’re listening, you’re going to feel something.
Since their explosive arrival, Shelf Lives (Sabrina Di Giulio (vocals) and Jonny Hillyard (guitarist/producer)) have scorched stages at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Kendal Calling, TGE, SXSW, New Colossus, 2000 Trees, Y Not, and Green Man (headlining the Rising Stage), while touring alongside Skunk Anansie, Lambrini Girls, Sprints, Panic Shack, Jehnny Beth, The Kills, Lynks, and more.
Championed by BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, and BBC Introducing, the band have also been featured in NME, Clash, DIY, Dork, Kerrang!, The Line of Best Fit, and UPSET.
Following their sold-out headline show at MOTH Club and the acclaimed No Idea EP, Shelf Lives return louder, bolder, and more unapologetic than ever. The band were also recently awarded the PRS Foundation’s highly competitive PPL Momentum funding — a huge achievement given the sheer number of incredible musicians vying for it, making their selection a true testament to their talent and vision.
With the release of their debut album ‘hypernormaL’ , Shelf Lives are stepping boldly into their next era — and they’re not looking back.
