4 Corners is a pioneering Hip Hop crew from Hamilton, New Zealand. The name 4 Corners represents the four elements of Hip Hop culture: MCing, DJing, Breakin’ and Graffiti.
Formed in 1998, the crew consists of Koma, Hepaklypz, Omega B and DJ Militia. Throughout the 2000s, 4 Corners became one of the leading forces in Hamilton’s Hip Hop scene, helping shape and grow the culture in the city.
After releasing two singles, “On The Downlow” and “By My Side,” both of which entered the New Zealand Top 40, the group released their debut album, ‘The Foundations,’ in 2006.
The album featured guest appearances from Ladi6, Tyra Hammond (Opensouls), Maia Rata, Tyna, AL and Che-Fu, while production was handled by Fire & Ice, DJ Militia, Juse, Hemz, DJ Ali and P-Money.
