MELODOWNZ is an award-winning Māori-Samoan artist, songwriter and storyteller from Avondale, West Auckland. Renowned for his poetic lyricism, soulful production and distinctive perspective, he has established himself as one of Aotearoa hip-hop’s most respected voices.
Across his career, MELODOWNZ has earned eight music awards, including Best Pacific Male Artist, Best Pacific Hip Hop Artist, Best Pacific Music Video and Best Pacific Music Album.
