Byron Bay rock outfit Off Judy unleash their debut full-length album Good Boy on October 3. Packed with 11 tracks of hook-heavy powerpop-punk and scrappy, big-hearted storytelling, it’s a record that distills the band’s chaotic live energy into a studio statement.

Leading the charge is feature single “New World Tempo”—a beat-driven sprint about life moving faster than you can breathe, and the choice to keep up or be left behind. Relentless and razor-sharp, it captures Off Judy’s knack for anthemic choruses and raw urgency, cementing their reputation as one of Australia’s most exciting emerging acts.

Good Boy also collects fan favourites like the folk-punk tenderness of “Lean In,” the teeth-bared charge of “Sink Your Teeth In,” the anti-greed blast “Savour The Flavour,” and the high-octane “Scared Of The Dog.” Produced with long-time collaborator Alain Decarne (Les Krills) at Byron Music Studio, the album balances grit and melody, showcasing the band’s range without ever losing momentum.
