Born in Fremantle and raised on loud guitars, high-energy shows and close mateship, Ra Ra Viper have built a reputation as an electrifying live act in Australia’s music scene. The five-piece blends jagged riffs, snarling energy and infectious hooks into a sound that nods to bands like The Black Keys and Fontaines D.C. whilst maintaining a distinctly Australian surf rock edge. Their well-received 2024 debut album Big Speak earned national radio airplay and landed them on major festival stages including SummerSalt, Yours & Owls, and Party in the Paddock.
In June 2026, Ra Ra Viper supported Old Mervs on a 20+ date North American tour across the US and Canada, further expanding their international fanbase and building on the band’s 2025 Australian support tour with UK alt-rock icons The Wombats. The group now draws 90,000–100,000 monthly Spotify listeners (with roughly a quarter in the US), underscoring their global appeal. With their sophomore album Ra Ra set for release in September 2026 and both national and global touring planned through 2027, Ra Ra Viper are poised to further elevate their standing on the global alt-rock stage.
